I am truly in love with this oud and mesmerized me. It’s a top tier incense grade Assam oud , soaked for 60 days in a carefully controlled environment using Turkish rose hydrosol . Thanks to this control, there’s absolutely no funk, barnyard, or animalic scent in the oil it is a crystal clear oil After those 60 days, the oud was distilled with the Turkish rose hydrosol . The result is a single word: Spiritual . It’s a meditative oud that, every time I smell it, feels like it gives wings to my soul and takes me to another realm. Even though it was distilled with rose hydrosol, this is not a Rose & Oud blend . Alchemy speaks The rose is not dominant. Instead, it acts like a soft aura that gently surrounds the oud’s backbone. The scent profile brings to mind dried violets , dark dried plums and berries smooth tobacco and leather softened by rose , and a warmth that reminds me of pink pepper . It’s clean and moist, like the inner layers of wet tree bark. And above all, it smells like the walls of a thousand year old temple , where incense has been burning for centuries. If I had to choose just one word to describe this oud, it would be: Spiritual .
